- Scope
This standard specifies the physical connection, communication link, and application technical specifications between multifunctional electric energy meters and handheld units (HHU) or other data terminal devices.
This standard applies to point-to-point or one-master-multiple-slave data exchange between multifunctional electric energy meters and handheld units (HHU) or other data terminal devices in local systems. Other electric energy meters with communication functions, such as single-phase electric energy meters and multi-rate electric energy meters, can be referenced for selection.
