Product Overview
MODBUS R116It is a 1-channel intelligent socket control module that achieves intelligent transformation of ordinary sockets through RS485 bus Modbus protocol - transforming traditional uncontrollable wall sockets into intelligent sockets that can be controlled by central control systems, mobile apps, or HA timing/scene/remote control. The module is equipped with a built-in 20A high-power relay, suitable for on/off control of strong current circuits within various load ranges.
Status feedback
- Bus on-off control: Control the power on/off of sockets through Modbus RTU commands
- Status Review: Real time query of the current socket on-off status
- Timing task: Cooperate with HA or central control host to achieve timing switch
- Scene linkage: Automatically cut off non essential electrical power supply in home scenarios

Important reminder: Load capacity

⚠️ The relay is rated at 20A, but the actual carrying capacity needs to be reduced according to the load type. It is recommended to use the "relay+AC contactor" scheme for high-power equipment (>10A).
Modbus control
Use function code 05 (write single coil) to control on/off, and function code 01 (read coil) to read back the status. Provide a complete Modbus protocol table (C-33).
