Product Overview

MODBUS PRT01It is a temperature+pressure differential two in one sensor that simultaneously measures ambient temperature and gas micro pressure differential (positive/negative pressure). Adopting a high-sensitivity differential pressure sensor, it quickly responds to pressure changes and has stable and reliable performance. In industrial production, where pipeline pressure fluctuates frequently and the environment of breeding workshops or negative pressure wards is susceptible to external interference, PRT01 can timely and accurately reflect pressure information. Connect to Home Assistant or building control system through RS485 Modbus RTU protocol.

The significance of differential pressure measurement

Pressure difference (Δ P), which is the difference in air pressure between two spaces:

  • Positive pressure (P1>P2)Indoor air pressure>Outdoor air flow → Preventing external pollutants from entering (operating room, electronic cleanroom)
  • Negative pressure (P1<P2</strong)Indoor air pressure<outdoor → air flows inward → prevents internal pollutant diffusion (negative pressure isolation ward, biosafety laboratory)

  • Negative pressure isolation roomConfirm that the ward maintains negative pressure relative to the corridor at all times → if the pressure difference reverses abnormally, immediately sound an alarm
  • Breeding workshopThe operating status of the exhaust fan is confirmed by pressure difference (with pressure difference=normal exhaust)
  • Filter cloggingThe pressure difference between the two ends of the filter gradually increases → HA determines that the filter needs to be replaced
