Product Overview

MODBUS EFR32MG21It is a ZigBee 3.0 USB wireless communication module based on Silicon Labs EFR32MG21 chip, used as the Zigbee Coordinator for Home Assistant. By inserting the USB port of the HA host and integrating with Zigbee 2MQTT or ZHA (Zigbee Home Automation), a Zigbee network can be established to connect and manage various Zigbee smart devices.

Zigbee 3.0 Standard

Zigbee 3.0 is a unified standard of the Zigbee Alliance, which is backward compatible with old standards such as Zigbee Home Automation (ZHA) and Zigbee Light Link (ZLL). The EFR32MG21 chip supports all features of Zigbee 3.0:
