II. Remote control command format (7-digit password)
Each command of Pelco-D is like a string of7-digit passwords, with each position having a specific meaning:

IV. How to verify the password? (Anti-counterfeiting code calculation)
The camera will check whether the last digit (anti-counterfeiting code) is correct, and the calculation method is likeCalculate the total price at the supermarket checkout:
- Add the numbers from positions 2 to 6
For example:0x01（编号） + 0x04（左转） + 0x20（放大） + 0x3F（速度） + 0x00（速度） = 0xA4 - Take the complement of the result and add 1
- Complement:
0xA4→ becomes0x5B - Add 1:
0x5B + 1 = 0x5C
- The anti-counterfeiting code is
0x5C
If the camera calculates differently, it is considered that the instruction has been tampered with and should be ignored directly!
V. Common Problems
1. The camera is not responding?
- Check the password: Is the anti-counterfeiting code calculated correctly (recalculate with a calculator)
- Check the number: Is the camera address correct (default is
0x01) - Check the circuit: Just like a remote-controlled car with a dead battery, the signal line may not be properly connected
2. Can it turn left and right simultaneously?
No!Just like you can't step on the accelerator and brake at the same time, the camera will ignore conflicting commands.
3. Does a higher speed value mean faster speed?
Yes!0x00= stop,0xFF= fastest, and intermediate values can be adjusted by yourself (for example0x3F≈ medium speed).
